IPL being set outside India being one of the greats set backs and a failure for BCCI and cricket in India. IPL being an Indian cricketing event where the entire cricket fans have their eyes glued with breathe taking matches are now deprived to view it live in stadium. IPL will be just a television event. The excitements have dropped thanks to dance of schedules by BCCI officials and and political players. A pre IPL political game seemed to more exciting with every hour the news channel citing some statements regarding IPL. Though every news seemed to be same, the best part was every news was "BREAKING NEWS." Numerous ways were tried, but ministry department was not interested in compromising elections for IPL citing security concerns. The denoument derived was IPL on foreign soils. What sort of impression are we giving to cricketing world outside? India being the prime cricket corporation and dominant in cricket galaxies could not convince Indians themselves. But as a matter of fact it was a right tact as government was not sure about security department and was not interested intaking any sort of risk after the recent attacks on Sri Lankan players in Lahore. Shifting isn't bad idea since postponing is not possible due to stiff cricket calendar.
